WHAT IS THE ADVENTURE CHALLENGE COURSE?
The Adventure Challenge Course located at California State
University East Bay in the beautiful Hayward Hills is a carefully
planned experiential learning environment constructed of logs,
cables and ropes. Participants move through a progression of
icebreakers, initiative problems, trust activities and group
problem solving challenges. It asks of each participant a
willingness to risk, experiment, and to learn in an atmosphere
of mutual support and cooperation. Success in meeting these
challenge activities does not depend solely on any one
individuals physical strength, but rather on the team's ability to
creatively solve the tasks at hand.
WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION
Our workshops will help maximize individual and organizational
performance and get team members focused on common goals.
Research has demonstrated that success of any organization is
dependent on the individual commitment of each member to a
common goal. Groups are formed into teams by working together
solving a series of interesting goal-oriented problems thus
empowering individuals to contribute to finding solutions through
effective individual and team behaviors. What participants learn
in the workshops are easily transferred to the work environment.
WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM OUR WORKSHOPS
* Any group or organization that benefits from working toward a
common goal.
* Newly formed groups and project teams that would benefit
